Life’s a Beach!

Well, here is my first official blog post!

I wasn’t going to use the Blog function, but sometimes the stories that go along with the photos are better than the actual photos.

We headed down to the shore (that’s the beach for anyone who’s a non-New Jerseyan).  We spent Friday at beautiful Argos Farm in Forked River, and the kids ran around the whole time doing ALL the things - a giant trampoline, a corn pit, giant slides, zipline, obstacle course, and apple cannons.  Once that golden hour hit, I was able to nab them for a couple pics!

Saturday brought us to Seaside, where we were able to bring Ollie on the boardwalk for some pet costume thing (but he didn’t dress up), but we spent a few hours on the boardwalk before heading to the beach (with the Jeep, of course).

It was our second time driving onto the beach and this time we made a fire - and it did not disappoint! The weather was beautiful and the ocean was calm for the most part.  I, of course, could not stop taking pics, between the beautiful ocean and sun setting behind the dunes.  I captured Ollie absolutely loving the soothing wave sounds, and the girls were able to spend time with their pop-pop.

But alas, I DO get tired of photographing my family, and I’m sure my kids are bothered too.  I saw another family with a dog in the distance, and me being the extrovert that I am, I decided to march right over and ask if I could photograph their family for my website.  Thankfully, they agreed.  What I love most about photography is being able to capture happy moments for people.  I hope they enjoy the snaps I took of them for years to come!
